Bayern draw with Dortmund in German football classic

Bayern Munich drew 1-1 against Borussia Dortmund this Saturday (30.11.2024) in the German Klassiker and remain undefeated leaders in the Bundesliga.

The Munich team conceded their third draw in the German championship after those sealed against Bayer Leverkusen (1-1) and Eintracht Frankfurt (3-3).

With 30 points out of 36 possible, the Bavarian giant leads the table with seven more than Leverkusen (23), who had beaten Union Berlin hours earlier, and Frankfurt (23), who visit Heidenheim this Sunday.

Still unbeaten in the Bundesliga, Vincent Kompany's men fell behind to a goal from winger Jamie Gittens in the 27th minute and equalised through Jamal Musiala, who headed home in the 85th.

Bayern's bad news came with the injury to England striker Harry Kane in the 33rd minute. Munich's top scorer left the pitch with discomfort in the back of his right thigh.

Bayern host Bayer Leverkusen at the Allianz Arena in the German Cup round of 16 on Tuesday.
